Our violin teachers are Suzuki method trained but also offer traditional viola instruction depending on a student's goals. 'String music lessons include violin, viola and cello in Cary and are offered to students of all ages and levels. Our special achievement program helps motivate students to continue practicing at home. Students start with the fundamentals; from learning about the instrument, proper posture, and simple songs and advance from there. Our intermediate and advanced students master beautiful repertoire and advanced techniques in vibrato, and shifting. Our violin lessons include music theory, ear training, sight reading, and music history. Violin lessons are offered in our school on the border of Cary and Morrisville.

SUZUKI MUSIC PROGRAM

Our Suzuki teachers are members of the Suzuki Association of America and use the mother tongue method to teach young students musicianship. The Suzuki program when properly followed yields unparalleled results. Parents are involved in Suzuki lessons, by sitting in taking notes, and even learning along side their child so they can be the home parent. Listening to music in the home is especially important as is learning in a group environment with other children that is encouraging and nurturing.

Our Suzuki program includes weekly private lessons as well as group lessons twice a month. Just as children learn how their language by listening and practicing, so students learn their instrument by listening and being in an immersive environment.

VIOLA LESSONS

All violin lessons are taught as private, one-on-one music instruction and are available in lengths of 30, 45, and 60 minutes. It is suggested kids begin with 30-minute violin lessons if they are beginners and not attending orchestra classes. For teens and adults who have some previous experience, we recommend starting with 45- or 60-minute lessons.

VIOLA LESSONS FOR KIDS & TEENAGERS

Our teachers are used to teaching young students and adults alike, we pride ourselves in patience and quality. While we strive to make lessons enjoyable we also put a strong emphases on technique, such as posture, bow and left hand technique, and music reading. Along with lessons students are added into our social app so they can grow their community and share their results to keep students interested and engaged!

VIOLA LESSONS FOR ADULTS

We love teaching adult students! Adults will learn repertoire from a variety of musical periods as well as proper posture, technique and music theory.
